So..I tend to be the person in the room that is so fascinated by you that I forget to say anything about myself…growing up I was often thought to be extremely shy. This carried with me until my adult years. The truth is though that I am not “shy” in any sense of the word and my life’s actions bear witness to that…no far from it…lol..I tend to be the exhibitionist, assertive, solution maker, goal getter person veiled at times within the “chit-chat” as my friend and mentor, Darren Hardy (Success Magazine) calls the “social discussions” that are part of any social gathering. I have lived many lives really..so much so that my therapist friend says that I have recreated myself more times than anyone she knows….huhmmmm..not sure if that is a good thing or not now that I read that back! Anyway…on to the “about me” stuff!
Since the age of 19 I have been a student of personal development and built a highly successful career in sales, sales management, sales training and personal development. Along the way I managed to also successfully run (in no certain order) a fly fishing/guiding business, a personal chef business, a janitorial business, a coaching and success training business and helped open up new markets for such companies as Goldmine Software, HP, Quickstream Software and many others.
I became associated with the personal development field when I became a highly successful franchisee/distributor for Success Motivation Institute. There I had the great pleasure and honor to be mentored by none other than Paul J. Myer. I stayed there 3 years and it was there that I begin to be a student of “possibility thinking”. Since than I have been very fortunate to have had many of the legends in this field as my mentors and I consider myself to be well versed in this area. I have taught many people techniques and ideas that have literally changed their life and have learned to be grateful for each moment in time that I am fortunate enough to be part of.
I think the thing that sets me apart from others are the MANY challenges and “trials” that I have had in my life. When I was a boy and on into my adult years life always seemed to challenge me and I chose some roads when I was younger that were ..well let’s say that I was not a poster child for “choir boys of america”…lol…
I have had great loss in my life as well. Some because of bad choices I made and others because sometimes that is how life deals the hand to us. Through it all though I learned..without a doubt..no question… that even in the darkest hour there is good! It is a law of the universe that with every bad thing there is an inherent good thing as well. And, as I found on many occasion, those “bad” times lead to “even better than before times”! So..
Wow! That’s enough about me for now.. I am sure I will revisit this page and edit and edit again so bear with me and please leave comments and ideas anywhere on this blog and thanks for stopping in! Peace and Joy!
